Science is fascinating and so relevant to life in the mid 21st century.

Science qualifications open the door to so many exciting and interesting career opportunities.

I am passionate about teaching science, improving knowledge, understanding, exam techniques & confidence.

My extensive professional teaching experience has been gained gained in a wide range of settings: from university lecture halls, to schools, to one-to-one tutoring. 

This has led me to gaining an understanding of how students differ in their learning styles and needs. These needs can often not be met in large classes. Teaching science to individual students allows me to establish an excellent working relationship and to identify knowledge gaps. By re-teaching and explaining at an appropriate pace I build confidence and interest in science. 

My approach is positive and I truly believe that every student can achieve far more than they realise with the right support. This is borne out in the improved grades my students attain.

However, I will be honest and report back if I feel there is a lack of progress.
